Remarks

The only bad remark that I feel apt to share is that the college administration isn't very helpful or cooperative. You don't get any reimbursement for participating in moots and the college attendance policy is harsh. Besides the administration isn't active usually.

Entrance Preview

I took CLAT. I chose law because I was passionate about it though I was a science student. I saw my skill sets could be most aptly utilised in the legal field.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The Course curriculum here is rigid. Even with only one law subject in the first semester surviving was difficult because in one semester you have to take a minimum of 30 and maximum of 42 exams. In the first semester Torts was the only legal subject followed by Consti law,Contract act and IPC in the coming semesters.

Internships Opportunities

Since it is a rather new NLU no companies as such came with offers of internship. We have to go out and apply ourselves. Most students at NUSRL end up getting handsome internships and paid ones are not rare.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement of the first passing batch was good with the highest package being 14 lakhs. Actually that was a PPO. Apart from that one was placed at Amarchand last year. There were others too who got placed. This year Wadia and Ghandy came and took a few of our seniors and few got placed with ICICI Lombard.

College Events

4

We hold out a number of college events be it Nukkad Nataks or Debate competitions, parliamentary debates,Trial competitions or cultural feats, diwali nights or DJ nights we have them all.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I would say that the fee structure at NUSRL is quite expensive to avail yourself education from this institution you may have to shell something over 200000 per annum with that we are the costliest NLU in India.

Campus Life

3

Life at the NUSRL campus is good. You get to enjoy some real good social life with overall development. Apart from co-curricular activities one also gets to have a number of extra-curricular activities be it chess competitions, football or the NUSRL Cricket Premier League we have it all.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel facilities are good. We have a huge 70+ acre campus with good quality mess food. Each student has his one single room so you don't have to worry for privacy. It is a residential campus.

Alumni/Alumna

We are a new university so technically it wouldn't be wise to boast about a dependable alumni network but I am sure that with constant good placements that we are having the future isn't dark.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is highly rigid. A student has to take 5 Continuous assessment tests for each subject usually being 6. Apart from that there are mid terms and end sems. So you can calculate yourself what one has to go through at NUSRL.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of my college is good. They know everything that any other professor could and end up clearing any doubt that a student may have. They're assistive and friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quite interesting and I personally feel very grateful to have pursued it. It is one of the courses that shapes me as a fine citizen of india. Moreover the course structure is very practical in nature as it includes training sessions like drafting, researching, moot courts and others. The teaching style is student friendly and teachers teach as per student's comfort. The exam level is moderate..if one is attentive in class they will score well.

Remarks:

No bad remarks but the attendance is 75 percent is compulsory in way important manner you cannot even sit in a paper exam I'd your attendance is not up to the mark in thasubject. So really don't know if its good or bad really . but all in all everything else is well played out so watch out for that attendance matter and you can enjoy the college life.
