Bachelor of Science [Agriculture]

The course was an amalgamation of theoretical and practical knowledge. The practical aspect of the course was in the institutes?laboratory and also on the on-field so that the students understand better and overall the performance of every student can be good. Exams were divided into six slots for final exams and every semester had internals also.

The chances are moderate but a student can get a decent job if the academic and somewhat practical approach in front of the interviewers. However, the institute sponsors a summer course on novel genomic tools and modern breeding techniques where students can learn as a part of the internship.

In this institute, mainly festivals are celebrated as a part of events. Apart from it, there are several practical sessions on field related curriculum topics where students can see what is absent in their books. Also, the institute organizes expert lectures in the main hall.

The fees were divided as the registration fees, library charges, tuition fees, and the exam fees were paid separately. Although there was the option of paying the fees as a whole so I paid 10,000 for one year and the same amount every year at the student's corner building.

The institute organized general extracurricular activities and batch activities like a batch of a particular field. For the Bachelor of Science students, we had tree plantation on the campus once a month. Also, there were awareness relays where people are given the knowledge of trees, agriculture, and the atmosphere. Many students participated as there was much student diversity.

Students prefer the hostel and pg rooms equally, students who are from different states take the hostel facilities like good food at the mess, clean rooms with only three students per room. Also, as the hostel was quite near, it was convenient to attend lectures and labs on time.

I applied to Bachelor of Science in Agricultural due to my interest at the Indian Institute of Pulses Research which is a renowned institute. The application mode was online and merit-based and therefore I applied to the portal of the institute. I got an admission letter in no time due to my good scores in the higher secondary education as the student profile was evaluated on that basis.

The faculty had on-field experience as well as the practical experience in the laboratory researching some extensive topics. Also, they took an internal exam of every subject and gave marks according to students?performance and academic submission.
