I graduated from Ohio Christ. Its a tie-up with Ohio University and delivered @ Christ University, Bangalore.
Internships Opportunities
Attra INfotech, Oracle, Accenture, Tata Motors and all leading companies. We were not paid any stipend at that point of time. Now i hear that students are getting some stipends.
Placement Experience
Placements were average because of 2008 recession. Still I managed to get a placement with Thinksoft within the Sales & Marketing Team.
College Events
Freshers Day, Farewell parties, Sports meet, Cultural events, Festive celebrations (Almost all festivals) Inter college, Intra college, Outside events happening in our college AuditoriumFood Fest
Fee Structure And Facilities
Expensive compared to other Universties / colleges However, Since it was Ohio Christ - And faculties had come from USA, its worth it. Also, we get a JSCP (Joint Students Consulting Project) / Internship where students from Ohio come here. Also, a batch of students travel overseas for a limited time.
Fees and Financial Aid
None - We had to get loans individually form our respective efforts. However for direct Christ university courses, there were easy loan processes. South Indian Bank helps students in the same.
Campus Life
Both boys and girls in the same hostel with a partition in the middle and a common terrace. All team members clubbed and did late night project works in the terrace. Hostel Facilities
Hostel was fun during our time. Private run hostel - Near college campus. Both boys and girls in the same hostel with a partition in the middle and a common terrace. All team members clubbed and did late night project works in the terrace. Food was average.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes - We have an alumni network and meetups happening every year in our campus itself. During that time, we also have fun and celebrate Cultural events, Food Fest.
Exam Structure
Internals+ Externals Exams for 70% of overall score10% - For weekly Class sudden tests - We will not be announced of the test dates 10% for Assignment submissions & Project reports 10% for Attendance
Faculty
All the faculties are well educated and knowledgeable. I graduated from Ohio Christ. Its a tie-up with Ohio University and delivered @ Christ University, Bangalore. All our faculties had traveled from Ohio, USA to teach us.
