Placements were 100%. Companies that recruited were GOLDMAN Sachs,Infosys Limited,Ocwen financial services, Punjab national bank,lotus trading, SIEMENS. Minimum salary offered was 7.25 and maximum was 11 lpa.

College Events

There are weekly conferences every Friday where industry bigwigs participate. Cultural events are also organized where an eclectic mix of students and popular singers perform.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is one of the lowest in the country. 1 lakh rupees for 2 years makes it the cheapest. Hostel was for another ten thousand and Mess were 1k per month. All in all less than 2 lakh all inclusive.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't take any loan. Although they have tie up with all the leading banks. So no problem in that regards at all since its a prestigious institute.

Campus Life

Huge campus. Lush green. Good male female ratio. One of the best campuses in country. Gymkhana is there for sports activities. Also, a movie is screened every week in the campus. Lots of tournaments keep happening.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is very strong and helpful. They visit campus for guest lectures and also help in placements. Most of them are in good positions in corporate world.

Exam Structure

Exams were conducted every week, grilling students about all the subjects. Besides these, our days were chilled out with lots of fun activities.

Faculty

Faculty of the college is very good. One of the best in Statistics in India, Marketing faculty is also top notch. All these faculty members are distinguished people and that's why they are there in IISc.

Nice MBA experience with an aesthetic campus and good placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

As iibs is providing good college placements with average package of 9.45 lakhs and highest package of 48 lakhs So don't need of focusing outside the college for placement I think iibs is provided better placement opportunities

Bridging the gap

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Good learning experience with Decent Internships opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because to get good knowledge like finance and accounts marketing and sales in two years of my masters . The circulum was well prepared me in completing two years of my graduation by studing in my academic subject. There should be some changes need to be made by improving the course circulum and teaching methods like time table of exams class room time table College timings etc Yes the timimg of exams were not so easy it was very hard for me to go to college it was so far to go from home but the college has no buses facility and i have already try to reach so early.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

Typically the average package they offered to people was around 3- 4 lakhs and the highest was way up to 10 lakhs. Our College possessed an active location cell that functioned hard to provide recruitment and other job opportunities to us.

IISc at a glance: An Institute with a Legacy of Excellence

I applied to IISER Kolkata and got accepted. The choice was governed by IISc having a better ranking and being further away from home. No. I did not apply to any other colleges. Right now, officially, the two entry exams are JEE-Adv and IAT. In the past, KVPY, JEE-M and NEET were also options. Cutoffs vary every year and since this is the first year with only JEE-Adv as the exam, it is difficult to guess where the cutoff would be. The admission process is quite smooth. For M tech in civil engineering you just need to have bachelors degree in relevant field and a valid gate score. Gate cutoff keeps on varying so can't tell exact number but for general category student gate score should be above 750. Application fee for Mtech is Rs 800 for General/OBC/EWS. Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Eligibility Should have passed 12th class or similar examination with Mathematics and two of Physics/Chemistry/Biology with 60% marks. Should have qualified atleast one of JEE Mains/ JEE Advanced/ KVPY(not there since last year)/ IAT/NEET in the year of admission These exams are held once every year. Difficulty level IAT<JEE MAINS< JEE ADVANCED for people inclined towards maths and NEET and IAT are almost at the same difficulty for people inclined towards biology but IAT has all PCMB subjects while NEET has only PCB The admission process is not that complicated.
