Remarks

The college is a good choice for pursuing bachelor degree, I enjoyed my college days. The college is really good overall. We get to learn in a very good environment. The employees here are friendly and approachable.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course of BSc has been average because I particularly feel that the course is outdated and the equipment used in the lab are not what we goanna use in companies because new facilities are coming. The labs are also not very frequent

Placement Experience

The placement record of the college has been average. Many companies are coming for campus placement but the highest package salary offered is not that big. The college provides internship facilities with average stipend.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college in simple terms is expense but can be manageable. For Bachelor of science- 40,000 For Bachelor of commerce- 38,000 For BCA- 60,000. For B.Tech- 2,50,000. The facilities provided in the college is very good.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got it from Sikkim state quota. To avail this scholarship, you need to have Sikkim state subject. Then you also need to have appeared Jee Mains and should have secured fine marks in your 12th boards. The college offers concession of fees to the student with excellent performance in their boards.

Campus Life

The college is full of hustle and bustle all around the year. There are cultural fests, technical fests, debates and many other entertaining events. Many social awareness programs are also organised to create awareness among the society

Admission

I got admission into this college through the merit list procedure as I have applied for B.Sc. and for engineering you have to give the SRMJEE exam to get through to this college. You have to yourself visit the college for verification of documents

The faculty of the college is very good and always inspire you to do well. They even help you out in case of any doubt at any sensible time. Try to be smart enough to extract the maximum out of them and don't hesitate to ask any problems, if any.

A very honest review of NIT SIKKIM

Placement Experience:

Placement is overall good here. Students from ece/eee are better placed than cse here. Here, companies like nvedia, apple has given the highest package. Previous year highest package is 55 lakh ,which had given to two students from eee branch. This year highest package is 35 lakh . Which is offered by two students. Now ,I am concluding all branch avg and placement percentage - Civil -70%placed Mechanical- 100% placed Eee-92% Ece-90% Cse/ai- 80% Overall -86% Average - 8.85 lpa Median-7.5 lpa Highest -35 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is pretty outdated, they need to update it. The professors try to accomodate and teach stuff out of the syllabi as per the emerging trends. The difficulty level is average and the exams are easy to score on.

As per the course i had no idea which one was good for me. Nor did i have a seniour who could guide us. We should have atleast a month in collage to decide our course. If it is possible we should be given a month at the start of collage to discuss with the faculty based on our strength to choose the course we want.

from 7th semester students eligible for sitting in placement drive. companies visited like alkem, cipla zydus, zuventus, alembic etc. highest salary is 2.5 lakh per annum and lowest in 2 lakh per annum. 85% students get placed in placement drives remaining students opt for higher studies and family business. my plans after getting degree is to get the experience the field in retail sector. and do my own business . not only I will depend on one business I will generate multiple source of income form my business strategy and communication skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B pharmacy is a professional course and if influenced me to choose this course This course prepares you for real world application starting from communication to discipline every thing is taught in this course one becomes very disciplined and dedicated to this course once they opt for it The improvement required is to give proper gaps between sessional and semister examination as it puts too much stress on student and the faculty at the ending rushes and completes the syllabus in a hurry without proper explaination and just gives ppts at the end and sometimes doesnt even complete the syllabus before semister exams . So i think this thing needs to be inproved Sessional examinations are not too hard but semister examinations are mild to hard

I would read the course curriculum terms of relevance into the world as I got a sit for competitive exams. Our exam timing and a sessional goes very smoothly in we have total of 5 units where it is very easy to do it and A final terms goes with hundred marks which also is very good

I do not have much idea about this field. If I'm not wrong internships begin from 2nd to 3rd year itself, and placements from 4th year. The avergae package here is around 6 LPA, and the highest package offered is 56 LPA. That'll be all from side.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is pretty good for the b.tech students like this year they are getting average of 7 lacs per annum but in BCA course it is 3 lakh or 4 lakh per Adam but in MCA it is 6to7 lakhs

Any student from India & foreign can apply in SRM University without any entrance exam. Any Student who have passed class 12 from any recognised boards are eligible for applying in SRM University. The best part of SRM is that SRM don't judge students and give chances to students with compartment in 12 boards & may have cleared the exam later. The another facility that SRM provide is scholarship to the students who have topped school. 1st topper gets 100% schorship, 2nd gets 50%, & 3rd gets 25%. Though the fees of undergraduate is kinda affordable it ranges between 30,000 - 70,000 per annum. The cost of application form is Rs-600 along with prospectus. Application form is available in Main block of SRM University i.e on 5th mile Tadong, opposite to IGNOU/ near Manipal (SMIMS) hospital.
