It is among the top colleges with greenery all around. I loved everything about this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very well structured. The focus is on research as well as increasing the knowledge, intellect and personality development of the student. I learned a great deal during my course and even went on ahead to pursue PhD, thanks to my interest developed n research during the course.

Placement Experience

The college provides great placement and job opportunities. The college personality and training wing makes the students placement ready. Many big companies like amazon, Reliance, etc visit the college for placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for the course is ?7,790 for year 1 and ?5,160 for the year 2. The total fee for the course is ?12,950. The fee is affordable and even some students get scholarships and their fee gets further lessened.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides scholarships to its meritorious students as well as to the students belonging to SC/ST category. The college is public and the students can apply for both state as well as centre aided scholarships.

Campus Life

The college has many extracurricular activities. Many conferences, seminars, debate competitions are held. Many sports events are also organized. There were many cultural as well as tradition based events.

Hostel Facilities

Though I hadn't applied for the hostel but I did stay there for a week during my exams. The rooms were clean and nice. The hostel was guarded 24*7. The food was tasty and the overall environment was also good.

Admission

After I graduated with excellent marks in B.A, I decided to go for M.A. I chose Matsya college since my elder sister was also studying there and she was all praises for the college. The college offers both online as well as offline mode of admission and I opted for online mode. After submitting the documents and once I got selected I paid the fee online.

The faculty is one of the best. They are not only highly educated and experienced but are also have high morals and polished behavior. They treated us with utmost respect and taught in a very friendly and interactive way.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.
