I have no complaint. s someone who has been a part of the Mayo College family for almost 8 years, I can vouch for the fact that students will have a great time here. There will be academic pressure and stress, but the teachers and your classmates will help you tide over it!
Course Curriculum Overview
The MD course is of 3 years and the course is streamlined according to the post graduate subject chosen by the student. The exams are divided on semester basis and year basis with emphasis on both practicals and theory.
Placement Experience
After an MD in General Medicine, there are a plethora of opportunities all over the country. It is a sought after degree from a medical college affiliated to the state university and it is quite easy to secure a position in a private or government hospital.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is elaborate and the total annual fee is quite high for all PG courses. The tuition fee is Rs 14,30,376. The hostel fee is Rs 3,00,000 and the security deposit is Rs 5,00,000. Including some other charges, the total per year comes to Rs 23,50,376.
Campus Life
College is always open to hosting events and letting medical students, who otherwise have a tiring life, partake of some fun! Thus, once in a while, sports activities are arranged on the playground or cultural activities are encouraged in the lecture halls.
Admission
Though I have done my MBBS from this college also, there was no precedence on that count. It is necessary to clear the PG NEET and secure the required marks to apply for PG degree here. Thankfully, I could get my preferred course for General Medicine.
Faculty
I am thankful to have faculty you can approach easily and also expect a solution from! I have been through many ups and downs regarding academics and career plans and my professors have always attempted to answer my doubts in both cases.
