It is one of the best college in haryana fir hotel management in every point of view. The campus, environment of college, placement, faculty all are just excellent. I enjoyed my three years of life in IHM and also got the best skills and knowledge from here. According to me, everyone must select this college for hotel management.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course duration was 3 years. A practical as well as theory examination conducted by the college at ending of each semester. The college focused on practical teaching so there was more importance for practical than theory. The college had a large campus and a beautiful environment. There were 7-8 labs for practical conduction and about 20 classrooms present in the institute.
Placement Experience
Placement and jobs were the power of the institute. Different hotels visited to college every year in placement drive. About 90 to 95 % students were placed in every batch. Along with local hotels the well known food brands like kfc and burgerking also visited the college and selected many of the students.
College Events
All the events including traditional day, western day, annual function and all the festivals celebrated in the college enthusiastically. All the students and faculty members participated it and made it more wonderful. Along with this technical activities like cooking competition also held in the college and all students participated in it.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college is autonomous but fee was similar to the other institutes. About 1,10,000 Rs. fees taken by the college for every year. Different scholarship scheme were also available on category basis and for the extra talented students. Installation option to pay the fees was also available in the college.
Campus Life
Cooking competitions, workshops were continuously conducted by the college to improve student's skills. Along with this, different sport activities, guest lectures, seminars were also arranged in the college. In short college performed the best action in every point of view.
Admission
One of the best institute for hotel management in Haryana is The Institute of Hotel Management(IHM). I have an interest in eating as well as in cooking so my first preference after 12th is IHM. It as an autonomous and prestigious institute in haryana. Everyone wants to take admission here. But admission is based upon 12th marks and JEE score. I scored good marks in 12th as well as in JEE so in first CAP I admitted in the The Institute of Hotel Management(IHM).
Faculty
The faculty of the college was too supportive. They taught us all the cooking skills and important parameters of cooking. They were very helpful. They had a great experience so they helped us a lot to clear our every doubt.
