Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum has been designed by professionals and includes thesis about the innovations in technology which have been instrumental in bringing about a change in the dairy sector. The duration of the programme is 4 years and is divided into semester pattern.
Placement Experience
The internship and placement opportunities are enormous and students have to work hard for getting them. Generally students are selected on the basis of their knowledge and academic score and how well they understand the industry.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is made pretty feasible for the students. We are charged Rs. 20,650 for the first year which includes both admission fees and registration and Rs. 17,300 for the remaining 3 years each. Thus, we are paying a cumulative sum of Rs. 72,550 which is reasonable for a course like this.
Campus Life
The students are involved in a number of activities and not just studies. The college organizes a number of events throughout the year where students get to showcase their latent talents. Thus, the college life here is absolutely amazing and a memorable one.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college organizes an annual alumni meeting every year which can also be attended by students. The students are free to ask any questions from the alumni who generally give them suggestion about how to go about their career paths which is extremely helpful for the students.
Admission
I am currently pursuing B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) from Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University. The eligibility criteria for the students seeking admission in this college is to have more than 50% marks In Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10+2. The admission process involves giving an entrance exam conducted by the university and getting at least minimum marks specified in the university merit list. Interviews might or might not be conducted depending upon the college? decision.
Faculty
The teaching faculty at the college is wonderful. We are taken on field trips by the professors and are taught how various technologies are used in the dairy sector along with this we have regular theory classes and practical classes which help us in better understanding of the subject.
