Course Curriculum Overview
The course duration is of 3 years with a total of 6 semesters. It is pretty structured with basics in the first semesters and more core and important subjects in the next semesters. We have class tests, assignments, labs, and end sem exams which is quite hectic.
Placement Experience
Placement scenario on campus is not so good. Students mosty opt for off-campus placements. Many of my seniors managed to get internships on quite good tech companies. Alumni network is quite helpful in getting recommendations for internships.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is quite nominal compared to other colleges. It costs me around 15,500 INR per year. This fee will cover the tuition fees, admission fees, wifi, labs, library and other fees. For a middle class family like mine's, it is quite a good option.
Campus Life
Apart from just studies, we play a lot of sports. We have our annual sports meet. We also celebrate all international days like international women's day. Our college hosts a lot of cultural and ritual events.
Admission
I wanted to pursue computer science, so I decided to apply for the university as it's computer science department was quite decent. The eligibility for applying was that you pass 10+2 or any equivalent exam and then the rest of the process is merit-based.
Faculty
The faculty is highly educated and have years of experience in teaching. Some are quite easy-going while some are strict. They are knowledgable and helpful in solving doubts. We also have guest speakers to talk on current industry on frequent basis.
