My struggle for an education

When I pass out from my university I miss those days and mostly my department head. Prof. Dr. Dharkary

All India biotechnology entrance exam conduct by JNU, New Delhi and I got 432 ranked in the exam. After the merit-based selection, I got many call for admission. But I chose AKS University and I am right.

My course curriculum was so advanced. We have a semester with a project based system and each of the semesters had practical work + paper writing + Presentation on every Saturday + extra curriculum activity.

I feel I have a bucket of fruits at those times because I love my subject and got top-ranked in the final semester. My teacher and my family were so happy at that time when I got a university scholarship and I have complete my internship from the Indian Institute of Sugarcane, Lucknow ICAR Indian research lab. by Govt. of India.

We have 30 students in my batch and 19 got company placement and 2 got abroad for PhD. and maybe those package around 2.5 to 3.7 on that time. Panacea biotech, Metahelix, Intas Pharma and some diagnostic company.

The first impression is the last impression so my fresher party was too good and the seminar and outdoor discovery trip were great and the science exhibition was too good. and last our convocation was extremely good.

No fee structure was a one-time payment and nowadays I don't know what is the process but the loan facility was there on those days for the only technical and professional student. free seat for nation level exam qualified a student.

University offered me a free seat and I got Rs. 8000 scholarship from DBT by Star College scheme. Yes, the loan facility is available there.

The campus was soo big and there was no social and political issue and university organized sports week and interstate university football camp. an etc.

I have not taken a hostel because I wast to be a free man. but some of my friends have these facilities hostel and mass charge around Rs. 6000 and sharing room also.

Actually, we are the first batch from my university so we don't have alumni but after my batch university was connected with us and we have a portal by the university and all of my batch mate and juniors are over there.

Rs. 500 per semester and lab charge was Rs. 15000 per sem. and the total fee was Rs. 30000 per sem. for those students who have JNU entrance scorecard and other university student fees was Rs. 50000 to 75000 per sem. the lab was chilled out.

All my faculty was experienced and have degrees from reputed Indian and for foreign university. They all many research Project from the Ministry of Science & Technology, New Delhi and UGC.
