Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum precisely teaches us about all the important aspects of a life of doctors. The exams are conducted on a semester-basis and since this is a 3-year course, we have to give 6 semester exams.

Placement Experience

The college provides both training and placement opportunities once we are done with the course. This is one of the best things about this university that we do not usually have to go outside and look for job opportunities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees in this college is Rs.1,08,000 for the first year and Rs.63,250 for the subsequent years. The reason for extra fees at the beginning is due to registration and facilities that we would use over the 3 years.

Campus Life

The college has all the facilities that you would need which includes labs, operation rooms, and OPD. Apart from that, the college also has museums that attract the students as all of them are solely dedicated to the medical world.

Admission

I chose this course as I was interested in treating little kids right from my MBBS days. The admission process required MBBS from a recognized college and clearance of NEET-PG after that. Once cleared, I got the admission here.

The faculty of this college is nice. They teach us everything we need to know about the course. A little drawback is that they don't help us connect with the real life experiences so it is a little hard for those who want to setup their own clinic.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

Placement Experience:

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

My College review

I was selected through NEET UG examination which was held in 2019 and the selection process was very easy and manageable through kea board Karnataka. I didn't avail any reservation benefits since I was from a general category and the exams were kept frequent and it was moderate level. I would recommend the areas of improvements in admission process would be like to cancel all the reservation because all students deserve better according to their according to the knowledge and no one would be left behind because it be sometimes it becomes like people who are scored less will get into the same college as people who have scored more than them because of their reservation which is not fair to the students...Read More
