Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is amazing. They taught you from the basics to the actually working with the industry. I was taught all i had to know about the subject from researching about fasion to fashion journalism.

Placement Experience

In my course we were required to do an industry internship which I did in NDTV. Many placement companies like Airtel, Google, HCL, HDFC Bank, ITC, PepsiCo, Philips India, RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland), Vodafone came to recruit our students. They offered a great deal to the students as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My course cost me around 8 lacs. I would say the was expensive but the course was definitely worth it, as I got to study in one of the best colleges and study under some of the best in the industry. The course also offers scholarships to students which you can enquire at the reception.

Campus Life

The campus life in KU was so vibrant. It was creative people letting loose their creativity. With sports and diversity the campus had so many programmes you can participate in. Many showcases and other programmes were performed in the college, you'll always be busy.

Hostel Facilities

I was living away from home for the first time so i was anxious on how that would turn out, but the college accomodation made me feel assured. With a vibrant student community and WiFi and fully equipped rooms with everything you the college accomodation was home to a a lot of good memories for me

Admission

I always wanted to study fashion and this course was perfect for me. I submitted the application form and the college had an aptitude test where i got shortlisted. They looked over my marks and called me back. Was the best day ever! You can apply online too.

Faculty

Highly qualified teachers who knew everything there is to know about their subject. The faculty was a great influence on each of the students. They were considerate and dedicated towards teaching us and making us better.

Alembic,pollycab and sunpharma are visiting this callage and I don't know about Highest package but the average like 500000 and the students are have more than 8 CGPA so they are definitely eligible for the placement

Placements start to comence from 7th sem.It is the eligibility criteria for all students. Companies like Sopan Industries etc have visited the campus for placement purpose. Highest package was of around 4.9lpa and average is around 3.4lpa Most students who got placements were those with an average CGPA of 8.6

There are 3 stage process of admission. First it is written test. Once we get selected from 1st stage then come situation test and interview. Situation test is basically we need to make a 3d model or something in the given time limit. And then there is interview rounds and portfolio checking. DIddy tried to review his college

I applied to ISDI,MIT ADT,Pearl Acadeamy,Rubika,MIT ujjain other than UID....and also got the offer letter from all trhe institutes ...but why i chose UID over all was the thought that UID is more heard of than the rest of them and it is also away from home ,,,it is just because of the awesome marketing of the college...Even my institue where I went to prepare for NID were promoting UID ...at that time i thought it is a really reputed college ...but at the end its all business...Read More

Really helpful

The admission process was quite easy, you just needed to give one entrance there were some passing marks which are different for every year. Once you pass the entrance exam they call you for the interview round on the date you select. You need to show your portfolio (whatever good work you have). Then they announce the result via your registered mail. Other than this admissions forms are announced on their official site. It's mostly in the month of December. Best design college which helped me grow into a successful professional

The eligibility for the course is 12th with 60% of marks. Plus, I appeared for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT), ST, and Portfolio Evaluation Test.
