My BBA journey in ICI

The Indian Culinary Institution is an autonomous institution under Ministry of Tourism. My overall experience with the college was really satisfying. The institution took good care of all our necessities and faculty members were extremely supportive.

The BBA course is a total three years program. Each year they conduct two semesters which is total six semesters in the entire course. Sometimes there are class tastes which are not very hectic. The course furnishes the students with required skills for becoming an efficient culinary expert.

The institution arranges placement program for the pass-out students every year by inviting renowned hotels and allied industries. They also organizes foreign collaboration for student exchange program, so that the students can get better opportunities.

The course fees for this course is quite reasonable. For the first year of the course the fee is 152,500 and for the next two years it is 149,000 each. The total amount for this entire course is 450,500.

This is an coed institution. There were some international students in our batch. The students belonged from diverse economic status but there were no discrimination among us. The college also arranged few cultural programs where me and some of my batch-mates participated.

Hostel facility is available for both boys and girls. Hostel room rent is 2000 per month and mess charge is 3000 per month, which is totally economic for the students. All the basic facilities were available in the hostels.

The ambiance the college is really sober and healthy for the students. I didn't face any ragging or bullying in the institution. The seniors were quite helpful and friendly with all of us. Some of them even shared their experience regarding exams and placements which really helped me a lot in my journey.

After getting quite decent marks in my senior secondary board exam, I had applied for the BBA course in this college since this institution was always in my priority list. My selection was done by an entrance exam, conducted by the faculty members. Based on the entrance exam, they had published total three lists of the selected students. My name was in the first list itself. Then they called all the selected students for the documentation process. From the next week our class got started.

The faculty of the college is really great and helpful. mostly all of them are highly qualified and experienced. With great experience and patience they listens to the problems of the students and try give them solutions.
