Review on my college

The most positive thing about our college is campus. The campus is one of the best and beautiful. The ambiance is like heaven here. The campus is green and lush. Campus is surrounded with trees of sandalwood, white sandal, mahogany and oak. The weather here is even. There is only one wood museum which is a must see thing. All scientist here are knowledgable and down to earth.

B.Tech biotechnology is a 4 year graduate degree program. It includes total 8 semesters, 2 semesters each year. This course gives us overall knowledge about use of various living organisms and bioprocesses in engineering, technology, medicines and other field requiring bio-products. This course includes lots of assignments, workshops, seminars, industrial visits, national & international conferences in it. Practical labs are conducted regularly as this course needs lots of practical knowledge. Overall the course is little hectic. One should have to serious in this course.

Placement in our college is more than average. Almost 60-75% students get placed in good recruiting companies with handsome packages. The highest package given to students is around 14 LPA. Pharma companies like hamdard, sunpharma, cipla, nestle, csir labs, patanjali visits our campus for placement. Overall placement is good at our college but it also depends on students personality and on their skills.

Lots of events are celebrated in our college are Prakriti awareness program, awareness program on forestry and much more. Holi, diwali, christmas are celebrated every year on the last working day before vaccations. Freshers, farewell and convocation ceremonies are organised every year.

Fees is very less and feasible according to me. Students can pay their fees in instalments for per year. Depending on the other facilities provided by the college the fee is feasible and not at all expensive. Students can see fees on official website.

Various extracurricular activities are organised by our college like cultural programmes, sports programmes and much more. There are many clubs and socities formed by college for various activities like sports clubs, drama society, environment and social clubs. These activities entertain us and give little relaxation from studies.

I choose this course over other courses because this course gives various career options like in chemical and textile industries, agricultural sectors, pharmaceutical firms and manufacturing industries. I got admission in this course on the basis of marks i secured in the higher secondary examination. After that student have to go through documentation process and then get enrolled for the course.

Faculties are supportive and highly educated here. Teachers always try their best. Some teachers also includes various life examples in studies which makes the topic connected and easy. Some faculties gives knowledge out of the syllabus which is beneficial for us. Teachers always support and encourage students in workshops and research.
