In doctoral program, a lot depends on the professor with whom you're attached. So, things can vary a lot from one to another. The one under whom I was, it was pretty hectic but at the same time, I was learning a lot.
Placement Experience
You have a good chance to work as a guest faculty in the university itself if you are passionate about teaching as there are many teaching posts vacant throughout the year. So, simultaneously, teaching experience can be gained.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Rs 29245 is the fee charged for the 1st year. Following year, it becomes Rs 26645 and continues lke this every year. And if you are able to crack JRF alongside, the course would only add value to your profile at this cost. So, very much economic.
Campus Life
Well, there are plenty of seminars and activities happening throughout the year. But, the undergraduates are mostly active in the. I don't get much time to be a part of these co-curricular activities in the campus.
Admission
For the doctoral program, you have to appear for the interview once shortlisted in the written exam. The interview is actually the key to make it to the university. Since, the other options I had were in private universities, I decided to stick with a govt. institution.
Faculty
Excellent. The professor under which I am working gives me a lot better understanding of many things which otherwise will not be possible for someone like me. I gets insights about my research work on a weekly basis.
