MSCLIS Entrance exam conducted by NLIU. I scored 72th rank all over India and I opt this college because i am fond of achieving cyber security. As black hat hackers quote there is nothing like absolute security.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is in trimester form of 2 years and designed syllabus are so relevant and helpful to get a good job. It includes 4 classes of each subject per week in per trimester. Generally there are four subjects in one trimester.
Internships Opportunities
I got engaged with the Paladion Networks for two month and they paid me 5000rs per month. Few of my juniors were selected in L&T infotect for internships.
Placement Experience
In my batch the Placement was around 80% in 2015. Many students were placed in Big 4 consulting firm. Internship opportunities are good and students were pre selected by the companies before completing the course.
College Events
Convocation was the great day in terms of events. Extra curricular activities includes Annual sports week, cultural fest, virudhkya, concerts and many conferences on different different topics.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's feasible as it's an central government deemed university. Fees for 2 year is around Rs.180000 excluding the hostel fees which can be paid in per trimester basis.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship as per the government rule were offered to SC/ST and OBC categories. Bonafide certificate were provide by registrar. After that loan part were not handled by college authority.
Exam Structure
Exams were conducted in every three months and labs/library are on daily basis.Attendance of 70% is so mandatory in the college otherwise u can't be able to give the written examination .
Faculty
As it's a National Law University so Legal portion is so good, but in terms of technical they are still working on to achieve a good cyber lab. Overall teaching staff is so well educated.
