The best NIT in North india (MNNIT)

I prefer MNNIT ALLAHABAD because of the good placement scenario compare to other NIT's and the awesome college lifestyle and the alumni of the college is very high personalities in the present time. Admission is done by the JEE main entrance exam if you qualify the cutoff of the college than your welcome in the MNNIT. Admission is generally occurs after JEE that is in the month of june-july. This college has it's own aura over others NIT's because if you see the techfest and the core technical fest are very high budget and huge good projects is made in the fest by every year and every branch of students. This college has awesome placement records as you see in my branch that is mechanical many top PSUs is visits the campus for placement. I prefer maily collegedunia and quora website while selecting my college and remember while selecting college that it's depends according to your need that what is your priorities in life.

I like automobiles that's why i choose mechanical engineering. In our college mechanical branch is called as "Royal branch" because it has maximum number of labs and faculty members and has a SAE MNNIT that is all about the mechanical engineering. Faculty members in MNNIT is very high profiled professor some professor has gold medalists and they are very humble towards students if you want any query just go and ask or text or call them they definitely solve your problems. Teaching method is nice they use many ornaments and props while teaching so students can better understand the concept. There are two exams were conducted in MNNIT first is mid sem and second is end semester exam. There is no difficulty in passing exam but your goal should be grater.

Many companies offers internship for only the CS/IT branch because you understand the scenario of the industries and the indian companies want software engineer more as compared to other engineers. There are different criteria for different companies like there is 3 round or 4 round in which 1. Coding round you have to solve some data structure questions then 2.mental ability round in which reasoning question than there is interview or HR round and than you select by the company. In MNNIT 260+ companies visits the college and there is high chance of selection in campus placement if you are a good student.

As i am the mechanical student so in the mechanical branch placement percentage is 92% student get placed and other are prefer higher studies and go to IIM and IIT for further studies. Many big PSUs visiting for the campus placement generally offer 10-11 LPA and the other companies like TATA, BAJAJ, TVS and many other core companies visits for mechanical students offers 8-9LPA so the average package for the mechanical branch is 8 LPA and if you want to know CS/IT placement i'll give you some brief idea it has average 14 LPA package for CS and 12 LPA for IT average placement. My plan is to join IIM for further studies and complete my MBA degree so i can do management job in the high profile company.

See, there are many types of fees structure 1.general category (Family income above 5 lakh)-98000/semester 2.general category(Family income in between 1 to 5 lakh)-50000/semester 3.general category(Family income less than 1 lakh)-36000/semester 4.sc/st/pwd-36000/semester Scholarship is of two type if your home state is UP than you apply for UP scholarship program and having other home state than apply for that state scholarship program. As i am from rajasthan i can apply for rajasthan scholarship program if i eligible than i have to complete all the paper work and formalities in only online mode for rajasthan scholarship you can apply according to your home state scholarship program. Mess charges is 15000 per semester for all category students and there is some hostel charges includes in the overall fee structure. Overall college is good according to fee structure.

There are many fests in MNNIT Allahabad. Annual fest is CULRAV which the grand and the main fest of the college in 2017 SHIRLEY SETIA visit the college for the concert and there is tech fest like AVISHKAR in which many competitions held in the college and you rewarded if you win the contest or competition. There is web development, Android development and aerocraft events happen in avishkar than there is DJ night in the evening and many more. Library is very big and has huge number of books there we have two library one is AC in which you can only if you have an laptop and want to work on laptop than other is normal in which you can go and study peacefully. There are many club like robotics, SAE , cricket and football and many other clubs so you can join according to your interest. I am the part of SAE club and I am the part of web development team of SAE and make the SAE MNNIT website.

First year hostel is the biggest and the best hostel in the MNNIT called SVBH(sardar vallabh boys hostel) in which you provide a room with 3 room mates and the environment of the hostel is just awesome you can celebrate your birthday and do parties and if you want to study than you can go back of the room that is the study portion of the room generally for studying purpose. Mess food is good not so good not so bad just average but there is a huge canteen in the TV room where you can buy anything for eating and there is a big TV room where we watch the cricket matches, movies and playing songs there is no restriction it opens for 3 AM so it just amazing if you ask about the meal there is rice,roti paneer,daal and a desert is always include in the meal.
