Remarks

Good part - Exposure, faculty, electives, overall experienceBad part - No campus life, infrastructure(though I have heard now it is much better)

Entrance Preview

NMAT, dont remember exactly (all india 54th Rank), Mumbai location, good exposure, best option available for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Satisfactory. Sales & Marketing was pretty good. Electives also gave option to choose cross cultural & language options which was fun. I opted for digital marketing & discrete marketing too.

Internships Opportunities

Not very good. I did in Gallup Marketing. Stipend was pretty poor. Overall average was not more than Rs 10,000. Its a struggle for freshers to get good internship in good brand.

Placement Experience

3.5

Almost complete batch was placed with hardly 6-7 people left. All the major brands & great employers came on campus.Packages were in the range of 4.5 lacs to 25 lacs.

College Events

4

College was quite happening. It included all kinds of management fests, cultural fests. Colleges all over India participated in them. Being near to Mithibai college increased the fun qoutient of these fests definitely.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for us was average - Around Rs 6-7 lacs for 2 years which was fine at that time. But, I have heard that the fees has been increased now quite a lot. Hostel & accomodation fees was quite a lot during my time. (More than Rs 1 lac per annum)

Fees and Financial Aid

Not sure about the same. But, definitely people got scholarships who were in need of the same. College was by & large supportive on that front i believe.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life was below standard as there was no campus at all. Hostel & college building thats it!! But, college was quite happening due to the quad, closeness to Mithibai college & then students from multiple streams.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facilities were quite basic. Mess food was quite good but, was on paid basis which gave quite a lot of flexibility in terms going for options outside hostel mess. We opted out of hostel in the 2nd year due to very high accomodation cost in the hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is also pretty weak. Nowadays, folks are putting in lot of effort to build it up though. Seniors are placed in very good companies but, not many people are aware of the same.

Exam Structure

Exams were quite frequent. The surprise tests increased the amount of stress & required focussed & regular studies. The day was quite hectic with lots of classes scheduled over the day.

Faculty

4

Pretty good. Cross cultural & overall marketing professors were pretty good. Enjoyed a lot in supply chain marketing classes also as the professor gave lots of practical experiences.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.
