Remarks

The campus is so neat and clean. The ambiance is like heaven here. This is the only institute on wood science and technology. Scientist here are very humble and knowledgable. They all are down to earth. The campus is green and lush with types of sandalwood trees. Our institute also include nursery, museum, labs with latest equipments.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.tech in chemical engineering includes learning and knowledge of chemical process, production and development of biochemical products. Our course includes lots of research topics to improve the quality of human lifestyle. There are various industrial visits conducted by our college in this course. Overall course is chill to students those are passionate about chemicals and researchs.

Placement Experience

As I am in 2nd year of my graduation so dont know more about placements in this course. But mostly seniors of our college are placed in top recuriting companies. They are at good positions like chemical administrator, process engineer, research and quality analyst, environmental manager, product technician and so more. While some are continuing their education by doing masters.

College Events

Many events are celebrated in our college like diwali, holi, christmas and new year celebrations. Plants day, green and environment days are celebrated by planting trees. Hindi day is organised by our college with full enthusiasm. Freshers and farewell parties are organised every year for newcomers and final year students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is feasible according to the facilities provided by college. Fees is very relevant and students from low income family can easily complete their education from here. Students can see the fee details on college website. One can pay their fees by NEFT or through online banking.

Campus Life

Various events in our college includes extracurricular activities like sports clubs, social clubs, cultural clubs and so more. Olympidas, quizes competitions are organised every month by college. These all activities entertain us as well as help in improving our personalities and various skills.

Admission

I choose this course over other courses because I am so passionate about learning chemical processes and I want to do research on chemical processes in my future. I got admission on the basis of score in PUC exam and marks secured in the qualifying examination.

Faculty

Faculties are so good here. They all are supportive and helpful. They guide us and motivate us for researches. They help us in academics by giving extra time to weak students. They are qualified and highly skilled still all are down to earth.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
