Days as a Master Student

The college has a really good infrastructure with well-equipped labs and an auditorium, seminar hall. The college has really great and experienced faculties on board with them. We have a large field with equipment related to athletics, cricket and many more. We also have a reading hall and a research cell as well.

Since I have opted Master's in math, all we have is sums and numerical. The course curriculum is not that vast but is tricky from a mathematic point of view. The exams and labs have a decent gap but the schedules leave us with a hectic day. We are allotted exam centres in the nearby area before semesters, where we have to be present during our exams. This system is the same for all courses in the college.

Placements and job opportunities are offered by this college once your are in your final year from any of the courses we have here. Many good and reliable companies visit our college with very good job opportunities and decent packages as well.

The total fee structure for 2 years master's degree across any course is nearly Rs 10,000. Tuition fees for the first year is Rs 4,500 and then for the second year it is Rs 4,850 including other fees as well. I completely think that the course fees is totally feasible and not at all expensive for any student to avail any course from this college.

Since this college is more likely to provide distance education, the doesn't have many things to provide when it comes to extra-curricular activities and events. We have some workshops and seminars on various important issues, have sports tournaments and labs that are always accessible to students for their practical and research works. Students also take part in some interesting activities like badminton, athletics etc.

We have really great seniors and alumni. We have really good connections with them. They are all approachable and very kind if juniors need any sort of help from them. Most of the alumni also visit our college and encourage in various sports competitions by sometimes funding almost an entire part of it.

Even if this a government institute, still this admission procedure is a little different than other colleges or universities. The difference is that master's students also get admission in this college on the basis of their previous college's last semester scoring. As I have really good score in my last paper, I got myself admitted in this college after my proper document verification.

The faculties that we have here are excellent and have in-depth knowledge and skills. Their teaching methods are quite innovative and interesting and efficient as well. They always complete the course before exams and if faculties due to some or the other reason are not able to finish the course, they just don't hesitate to take extra classes for it.
