Remarks
The Central Institute of Tool Design - [CITD] is a college that offers engineering and technical degrees, and is situated in Hyderabad, Telengana. It provides good hostel facility and ensures safety of students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum focuses on holistic development of the students. It is competitive enough but does not put too much stress on us. Exam structure includes 2 final exams in a year, internal tests, projects and practicals.
Placement Experience
The placement cell was not much developed in our college during our batch. We did not have many companies coming down at our campus placements, but we were prepared so well for working in industries that every one of us got pretty decent jobs in the sector.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The one-year fees of my two-year course of post-graduation was around ?42,000. It included tuition fee, registration fee, library fee, and other expenses. It was pretty feasible at the time for this course, with such good infrastructure.
Campus Life
All major festivals are celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm. There are football field, basketball, and such and we used to have team matches there. Focusing on extra-curricular activities helps students have a balance between studies and fun/hobbies.
Admission
An entrance test CUCET has to be passed to be eligible to get admission here. I gave the written entrance test after graduating in B.E. Registration form wasn't available online so I filled the form and got admission here.
Faculty
The faculty is truly dedicated towards the students. They have full knowledge of their subject and want to pass it on to us. They give us all the important notes and prepare us well for exams. They support us whenever we need it.
