Remarks

Yes the management was not good and it was almost run by political students. Strikes were horrible and even the elections.

Entrance Preview

That was on merit basis no examination. I was eager to pursue Engineering and had cleared out JEE,AIEEE for the same but due to some family issues couldn't go on with the plan.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was great. The college ws just like the ones shown in films. Classes were held but we were the ones to bunk. Accounting,Company Accounts,medium and small scale industires,business english,Environmental studies.

Internships Opportunities

No didn't have to go for that. It wasn't a professional programme. Few people were into CA,CS but they had their internships outside. College was not into that. People never came up or stood for the same.

Placement Experience

Yes we had a few campuse drives for the first tym by our term end. I had got selected in for Jindal Stainless but had to leave because they pur me in Logistics.

College Events

Commerce society function was awarded first position in dance. This was epic as one of my friends pushed me to go and dance but never expected to win it college functions were great.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee was feasible. Being a government institution had to pay only 5k for self financing and those who were into free seats never had to pay except for the examination fees.

They had offered a few scolarships but never had participted for the same. My friend a did I was not that keen in taking scholarships,loan.

Campus Life

Debate competition were held. Some of my friends even won a few. It was fun but I have never been to one. Just had a glimpse of people arguing over a particular topic.

Alumni/Alumna

We never came across any seniors. In a university like Ravenshaw its hard to guess who is junior or senior. No ragging nothing. Totally independent life.

Exam Structure

They were divided into semesters. We had two semester for each year that made it to 6 semester for the 3 year programme.

Faculty

Faculties were awesome with age old knowledge in the same college. Some were new and we enjoyed attending their classes they had new ideas and scope.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had taken commerce when i was in the college and the curriculum is very easy but some time its get borring because there are few subject are there where the teaching that the teacher is giving is either going above the head or not understable because those some subject have no use in the daily life and that are not usefull.

Value for Money Education in Rourkela

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of B.Com under Sambalpur University covers important subjects like Accounting, Business Law, Economics, Management and Taxation which are essential for future studies and careers in finance or commerce. The structure is simple to follow and helps students build a good base in theory. Semester exams are conducted on time and the difficulty level is moderate. My Experience at PN College: Campus Life, Cources, and Everything in Between

Placement Experience:

In our college, final-year students are eligile for campus placements. While i don't recall the specific companies that visited, one of my friends interviewed with Axis Bank and got selected with a package of around 2.4 lakh. The exact percentage of students are placed and details of average or highest packages are unclear to me, but the placements process provides opportunities of those actively seeking jobs. After completing my degree, I plan to pursue an independent career rather that seeking a traditioinal job placement.

Honestly after b com there is rearly some jobs and also low packages ,and college also give placement and this also very low packages thats why I do cost and management accounting along with b.com and some are only doing b.com

My goal and i would like to work as a cost accountant..so for this purpose i have choosen this course for study because without degree and knowledge in commerce i have not achieve my goal. In our course the ratio of facility and student is 7:250. Our faculty is well educated and completed all the qualification required to became a professor in college and also awarded from our President of india.. Teaching style, method is very much easy and clear. Every students can easily understand the overall study course. Thr term exam is conducted in 3 month and overall 2 exam is conducted in a semister..1st term exam is 20mark and it is very easy to score the mark but 2nd or final semester exam is 80mark and it is little difficult to score more marks as compared to 1st term exam..

Remarks:

Positive is there are many trees around the campus but the negative one is there is no proper boundary wall for the campus, anyone can jump through the wall and can get inside or go outside of the college campus.

RAVENSHAW UNIVERSITY, CUTTACK is the one and only NAAC A++ tagged Govt university of Odisha also one of in India. Its everyone's dream to study in my University. Ravenshaw univerrsity history is more historic then other colleges and institutes. If you are lucky then you will get the admission into this. Other private and othr colleges you can get admitted by scoring avergae mark or with good amount of money but to get into Ravenshaw only your very good marks and luck is needed for it. So it;s the reason. I directly applied into this uniersity and get admission as am eligible for it and lucky also. The admission process is normal as other colleges.
