Great college with experienced faculties

B.Sc Hospitality Studies helped us understand the workings of different departments of an hotel and how each department manages their works. Further how communication is to be done, was explained through role playing activities which helped us gain more knowledge. Also the technologies and its impact towards the development of hotel industry was explained and exams were mostly objective type which enabled us to get into it and answer,

Every year students of ICE get placed in 5 star hotels, Airports, Retails, Restaurants and all the Hospitality arenas. Many companies visit colleges for campus recruitments namely ?Ramada, Holiday Inn, the Park hotels etc. Students irrespective of financial background get an opportunity to start working right from their first year in-order to finance while gaining industrial exposure. During Industrial visits we were awarded according to our performances. I was offered a job at Ramada and I really am happy to work for such a company.

Every year college celebrated all common events such as Teachers day and National day functions. One famous event which is celebrated every year is food festival which was closely related to our field where students of different courses are allowed to enjoy the food available and help college decorate with vegetables and fruits.

The course fees for my curse totalled to a sum of 111,000 Rs. which is 37000 Rs. per year and I do believe is worthy to pay such amount as it is decent enough when compared to other colleges. Being a hosteller the fee charged was feasible and students also found it affordable.

Both cultural and extracurricular activities acted as a platform for students to showcase their personal interests such as singing, dancing and this created a bond between students and professors. Moreover students were allowed to participate in sport events.

I don? think there were any alumni network for our batch and we dint work towards creating a network but recently I?e heard that present batch students are working towards it. I do believe it would helpful for ex-students to get along and recover memories and could also help present batches by sharing our memories.

The admission process in ICE College was online. I got admission for B.Sc Hospitality Studies as I managed to score 67% in qualifying examination(10+2 pattern) which is recognized by Government of Maharashtra and later I was interviewed by few faculties of the same department.

The faculties were highly qualified and experienced. And through sharing of their experiences and knowledge were useful to us but also they were ready to help students when needed. Moreover the faculties conduct counselling sessions on regular intervals to help students solve problems and encourage them.
