Course Curriculum Overview
Many Undergraduate and Postgraduate level courses are offered by the university with UG courses of duration of 3 years and PG courses lasting for 2 years. These courses include the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Application, Travel and Tourism Management, Public Administration etc.
Placement Experience
Many companies such as AXIS BANK, CIPLA LIMITED, GLENMARK PHARMACEUTICALS LTD, TORRENT PHARMACEUTICALS, ZYDUS CADILA LTD. usually come for placement of final year student. They offer a package of around 2 lakhs to 4.5 lakhs with the average being between 3 to 3.5 lakhs
Fee Structure And Facilities
College fees is very much affordable. Even scholarships and fee relaxation for underprivileged is also present. Generally around ?3,333 is the total fee for my course with is very reasonable in context to the education they provide.
Campus Life
Many fests and events are held in our college. Cultural fest is also conducted in the college. Sports fest of the college and technical fests are the top fest of the college. Along with these many seminars and workshops are held year long.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college boasts a strong alumni network that are placed in top position of esteemed companies in each of the sectors. Seniors help juniors in overcoming problems related to academics and also relating to placements.
Admission
The candidate must have had passed the 12th (or equivalent) class from any stream with at least 45%. He/She needs to give the Central Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Sikkim University for admission to UG programs.
Faculty
There are some young teachers brimming with energy and enthusiasm and also there are some experienced teachers who are the backbone of the college. All the faculties are highly qualified and have certifications regarding industrial experience.
