Course Curriculum Overview

Diploma in sugar technology course is for 2 years and 6 months course curriculum revolved around the production and techniques that I used for the manufacturing process of sugar. The exams were conducted on semester basis.

Placement Experience

My college has a tie up with a lot of sugar mills, production houses, refineries, and many similar industries. before the placement process starts the cables different workshops and seminars to prepare for the interviews ahead.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for entire course was Rs. 61,000 fees is feasible and not expensive. But, those students who cannot afford to pay the fees for the course are offered scholarship on merit basis and academic performance.

Campus Life

The college organises cultural and sports events. Apart from that, they are also involved in annual fest, functions and events for those who are about to graduate. We also have a sports ground where we go and enjoy yourselves.

Admission

For admission in polytechnic course the eligibility criteria was that I have to have a degree in engineering. I had to have completed my BTech or B.E. There are only 50 seats available for this course.

Faculty

The faculty is well educated and experienced in the sugar manufacturing field. They know in and out about everything related to sugar production and packaging. It was such a pleasure working with them.

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES
