Course Curriculum Overview
The course duration is of one year consists of 2 semesters in total. It aims for training the personnel in design and manufacture of jigs, fixtures, moulds etc. By the end of course, the institute hopes that the students are well versed in designing and production. The curriculum is different for each topic .It helps to keep the students involved with whatever they are learning.
Placement Experience
There's a project work assigned to students which is kind of an internship for 5 months time on which students are marked. Apart from that, students are prepped well so as to get placement after completion of their course. There are also workshops conducted so that the students are prepared during the time of their internship.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As per government rules the fee in the college is allotted fees to the every students on based on caste system and university rules and regulations which are made by syndicate member board of the university.
Campus Life
The college has a state-of-art Amphitheatre which was inaugurated on 13' OCT2006 by our Hn. Chairman, Lt Col. (DrJT. S. Mathur. All extracurricular and cultural activities now take place in this open-air amphitheatre situated at the far end of the Oval-Ground which has a seating capacity of 800.
Hostel Facilities
Boys Hostel is also located within the premises having similar accommodation as for Girls. Both the hostels have separate messes for dining facilities having modern kitchens and cooking facilities. Both the hostels cost for Rs.85000.
Alumni/Alumna
The college has a good networking for the alumni association. The college is in constant touch with its alumni members. The seniors are extremely helpful to their juniors. The campus is ragging free. Seniors also help the juniors settle down in the college life.
Admission
The Saraswati Dental College offers BDS & MDS programs at UG and PG levels respectively. UPCAT qualified candidates can apply for BDS while UPCAT MDS qualified candidates are eligible for MDS program.
Faculty
The faculties are all industry specialists who know nook and corner of their respective subjects. They believe in practical understanding of the subjects and therefore teach using an effective methodology. They take their time in teaching the students and are also available to clear any doubts the students have.
