Entrance Preview

I took AIEEE, My AIR Was 52000 & i was turning old in the sense it was my third attempt.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure was basically theoretical with little or no emphasis on research. The Faculty were more busy in taking their M.tech Degrees.

Internships Opportunities

My internship began with a Shipping Company OSMS based in Pune & my Stipend was U.S 350$. Companies Which Came :-WIPRO, TCS, INFOSYS, INDIAN ARMY, COMPUTERS, ADANI.

Placement Experience

The Placement Cell was Average Out of a total Of 360 students only 160 got placed the average Remuneration being arond 18 - 20,000 INR.

Our College Celebrated its Annual Day, Fresher Day Which were pretty big as neighbouring colleges were also invited.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni Network lacked experience & Senior Students were helpful if you can look aside the little fact of Ragging. I believe Ragging made me tough but its not for everyone as some people get hurt more easily than others.

One becomes eligible for college placements if he/she in their third or fourth year. The number of companies visits are great like Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , Atlassian etc. These are the good companies which offers great placements. The percentage of students placed are about 85%. My plans after getting a degree is I'll move in tech based companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jiwaji is Government university which have a long heritage. But is now coming to the short end of the rope. Institute of Engineering Jiwaji is fairly newly established around 20 to 30 years or so. The faculty is not that great and is not that experienced and have less facilities. Faculty of IEJU is mostly on temporary payroll with some of the permanent faculty. You have entire leasure of time to yourself. So, thing other than couese can be pursued. Hostel facilities are good. If we come to exams Other than Pharmacy and Engineering all other course have tomoy scheduled exams with strict checking and scoring.

Remarks:

My college comes under Institute of National importance,it has amazing placement,the students in this college are very intelligent as everyone joins after qualifying one of the toughest exam JEE advance, college has beautiful campus and has well equipped labs and also hasquite low fee compared to other colleges.
