In this college you would love the tradition , food and multi lingual culture of Hyderabad.Our college is in the heart of the industry surrounded by many top notch IT companies. The college aims at increasing the growth in the area of footwear/ allied industry and those who have a taste of retail & fashion , this institute is a must for them.Here the students are encouraged to come up with new flanged concepts related to lifestyle , leather accessory , fashion merchandise and start entrepreneurship where we can explore our knowledge and skills.
Course Curriculum Overview
The duration of the course is three years . We are taught about the basic designs of marketing management & fashion designs , how to find the target audience , the sales & profit margin etc. FDDI makes its students industry ready and to face any challenges in the near future.
Placement Experience
Around 70% of the students got placement from my college.Top companies like Adidas , Wills lifestyle , Pantaloons , Reliance visited our campus this year and recruited a pool of candidates for the top positions like retail manager , product manger , assistant manger , fashion analyst and many more.Internships are also offered to students who want to gain more insights in the fashion industry . I am not sure of the stipend but the average ranges from 8000 to 10000 per month.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tuition fees for non NRI students is 80,000 for one semester . The library charges are 5000 and the mediclaim is 500 per semester which is nonrefundable . You also need to deposit the security and registration fees of 20000. Thus the total comes down to 2,00,000 including all the other charges . The grand total for four years is around 6 L which I consider is quite feasible .The tuition fees for the NRI candidate may be twice but the other charges may remain the same.
Campus Life
Many sports events such as football , cricket , table tennis , basketball tournament are organised by our students council for the students to showcase their talent other than academics. The labs of the college are well equipped with latest technology.
Admission
The students seeking admission must have passed class 12th from a recognized board in any stream.Then you need to clear the AIST exam which is for 2.5 hours and the mode of the examination is offline.There are four sections namely verbal ability , quantitative aptitude , general awareness and business aptitude test.You need to get a good score and rank in order to secure a seat in FDDI , Hyderabad.
Faculty
The teachers are really helpful . They clarify all your doubts in the best possible manner so that you get a good understanding of the subject.We are also taken to industrial visits on which we have to submit a report to our teachers . They are very strict in meeting the deadline of assignments but I think this strictness is also necessary sometimes to maintain the decorum of the class.
