Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya is a prestigious institute which has seen great persons in its campus. The institute strives hard to lift up the deprived sections of the society by providing a quality education.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course follows Choice Based Credit System pattern. We have two semesters per year for two years. The syllabus includes both theoretical and practical aspects of communication and media systems. There is project to be done at the PG course.
Placement Experience
We have a separate cell for the career guidance. It was started at 2012. There are 4 co-ordinators for the cell. They help in all the placement processes. The students are trained through various workshops, lectures and invited talks.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for the M.A. Mass Communication is ?.5,000/- per semester. The amount of fee is very much less when compared to any other private institutions offering a PG degree in media science.
Campus Life
The college has a cultural cell which helps to conduct various events during functions. Youth Festival is a big annual event at the campus. There is a NSS wing in the college. Other than that, we have so much of sports and student clubs. The anti ragging and proctorial board protects the students inside the campus.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel blocks are located separately for boys and girls. There are 80 rooms for girls and 100 rooms for boys. The fee for room is ?.4,000/- per year. The mess fee is about ?.1,100/- pee month. There are facilities for indoor and outdoor games, yoga, laundry, etc.
Admission
The application form is found on their official website. The eligibility criteria for the M.A. Mass Communication is a UG degree from any recognized university. I have my UG degree in Visual Communication. The selection process is purely based on merit marks. So I got easily selected into the course.
Faculty
The department waa established in the year 1983. The present HOD is Dr. Dhirendra Pathak sir. He is specialized in communication research and print media. All the faculties of the department are unique in handling each paper.
