MBA Days in St. Hopkins College

There is nothing negative about this college. Many international students come to our college during student exchange programs and most of our students replace them in their college. We also have various abroad internship programs and the college pays most of the fees, the college offers scholarships for academically excellent students also.

The course curriculum for MBA is a bit tough and laborious as well. Exams and labs are quite frequent which sometimes leaves us with hectic days. It is a professionals course and this college follows the semester pattern for conducting exams, which means students have 2 semesters in a year.

The placements and job opportunities for MBA students is just limitless in this college. This College is best for MBA students all over. This college is also associated with a number of universities globally for various internships like Global Internship Programs, International Placements and International Internships in MBA. MBA get the opportunity to opt for 6 weeks internships in countries like Russia, Turkey and other European countries as well. Companies that come for internships include mainly for Marketing, Human Resources etc. As students get exposure to international internships while studying, they have higher chances of having better job from the starting of the job life itself. I myself was placed with a reputed company based in abroad.

As I remember, the total course fees which I had paid for my 2 years duration of MBA programs in Finance was Rs 4 Lakhs including other fees like admission fees, tuition fees ,exam fees etc. I personally think that the fees is a little bit expensive but can be paid on the basis of yearly payment program.

I have not availed for any scholarships but have friends who have applied for the same. Any students who are academically magnificent and are also active in various other extra-curricular activities are benefited with this scholarships every year. Students can withdraw it as student loan and pay the course fees in which they have interest. Other fees after getting selected for internships abroad like flight price and others are paid by the college.

In the name of extra-curricular activities we have various sports tournaments and championships like for cricket, karate, chess and many more. Students also have dynamic participation in several workshops, conferences and many more organized in our college.

We had a good connection as well as bonding with our seniors and now we maintain it with our juniors as well. We visit our college whenever possible during holidays and host a talk show, to guide them about job interviews in various companies etc.

Admission for MBA students is through an entrance exam. After graduation from a recognized college in the relevant filed, I had went through an entrance test called CAT. On the basis of marks I secured in CAT exam, I got admission here.

The faculties of are college are very much qualified, educated and some of them are a bit strict and particular about their course. They are very helpful and take practicals in an interesting manner.
