Course Curriculum Overview
The course was easy going and fun to learn. We also had fieldwork in our last semester during which we worked on the practicalities of the course. A major portion of the weightage was off with assignment and internals marks. We had a semester wise examination.
Placement Experience
The university provides an industrial experience for building managerial capabilities and we can also experience social services in NGO? and firms during our summer semester. Learning all the practical aspects also helps us in mastering our interpersonal skills.
College Events
Events such as seminars and workshops, social activities, cultural fest, inter- college competition etc. happen now and then. We also celebrate festivals like Navaratri, Holi, traditional day, republic day, independence day, etc. and sports day.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are not very expensive, they are normal. The university also provides good opportunities in terms of placement and internships. The hostel fees are around ?1500. The college accepts both cheque and cash and also an online payment method.
Campus Life
JNCU has good infrastructure. The campus also doesn? have any kind of discrimination based on gender, caste, religion. The campus also has labs and sports room. Many events are organised.??The gender ratio in our college is 70:30 boys and girls.
Hostel Facilities
The college provides with a hostel facility too. There are separate wings for boys and girls. The hostel has all the facilities, clean rooms, A/c and non a/c rooms, separate almirahs, 24/7 water facility and the canteen provides with good food.
Admission
I was always interested in social services and that is the major reason why I applied for this course. You can directly apply through the university? official website or you can go to the admissions office and fill-up the form. Your selection will be based on your past performances.
Faculty
The teachers were warmed and welcoming. Their teaching methodology is also easy to understand and they include assignments and give us extra homework to learn well. We celebrate events together here so all the teachers help us in organising and motivate us.
