Good university for Horticulture studies.

The course curriculum was well designed and well taught. The academic year consists of two semester. There are total four semester in the two years course. The curriculum consists of theory, practical, laboratory work, research work. Computer room was there for the students. The university conducts two examination in each semester - Internal Assessment and final examination. Internal assessment are conducted in the mid of each semester and final examination are conducted at the end of each semester.

The university provides good platform for the students by conducting many campus interview. When i was in the final semester, i got more than three chances to appear in the campus interview. I cleared my interview and got a job in a Food processing company. They offered me a salary package of 6 lakh annually. After completing the course, students can join as a plant Geneticist, plant Breeder, Aquatic Botanist, plant pathologist and in Teaching Institutions.

The students committee of our university organizes many events and festivals in which teachers and students participate with great enthusiasm. Events and festivals like Republic Day, Independence day, Teachers day, orientation day, foundation day, Freshers day, various National and international seminars, workshops, conferences, Dussehra, Ganesh chaturthi etc are organized in our university. These events and festivals are organized in a very big way.

The fees structure was feasible. My two years fees was around 43000 rupees. We have to pay the fees in two installment. In the first year, i paid around 23000 rupees and in the second year, i paid around 20000 rupees. The fees was very less if we compare with other colleges and universities.

The university excels not only in academic but also gives importance to its extracurricular activities. The university organizes many extracurricular activities like sports activities, Health check up camp, NSS, NCC, Alumni meet, plantation programme etc. The university encourage and motive us to participate in all the activities.

The admission process in our university depends upon the results in the last qualifying examination. Students after qualifying their Bachelor degree in Horticulture /Agriculture from a recognised university are eligible to get admission in this course. The admission process was very easy in our university. The mode of application for admission was both online and offline.

All teachers of our university are very educated. Most of the seniors teachers have many years of experience in their respective subjects. They are the most talented professors. They focuses on the quality education of the students.
