Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is updated and detailed according to the UGC guidelines. There are different areas of research like Print Media, Communication, Electronic Media, Media Management, Advertising, Public Relations, Film Studies, Development Communication and Traditional Media.
Placement Experience
Yes, there are multiple opportunities for the students to get a hands on experience. The students are offered internships, and also, placements after the completion of their degree. The University organizes Joint Campus Training & Placement Drives for the students.
College Events
Many events are celebrated in the college like Zonal Youth Festival, World Radio Day, Open Mic & Stage Event, National Press Day Celebration and many others. There are also several inter college competitions and events for the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fee of first semester is 19,150 INR. The fee of second, fourth and sixth semesters are 13,000 INR respectively. The fee of third and fifth semesters is 13,550 INR respectively. The fee structure is pretty feasible for all the students.
Campus Life
Many extracurricular activities take place in the university which include Industrial Expert Lecture, Teacher's Day Celebration, Fresher's Party, Quiz fests, Induction Programme, Guest Lecture Trainings and many others.
Admission
I applied in this College for B.A. Jounalism and Mass Communication, because it is one of the topmost universities in India. The students are selected on the basis of merit. Each student has to pass the 10+2 board examination from any stream. There is no entrance exam, or interview.
Faculty
The faculty members are well qualified and have working experience of more than 10 years individually. Dr. Ranbir Singh, Head of Department, has 17 years of experience and specializes in Mass Communication, Development Communication and Public Relation.
