Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is just as it should be. There is a lot of emphasis on practical. There is focus on research as well as you get to spend most at time in laboratories. The exams structure is good and they are held at the end of semester.

Placement Experience

The college campus does not offer any placements to the students but there might be some companies visiting for recruitment for science stream subjects. The college organises various sections for self improvement and mock tests interviews are also taken.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for one year is about 20,000 for my course. for the three years program it was 60000 and I have to pay a little extra for the means in in storages and other things and facilities that I have availed.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no scholarships based on merit and there are certainly no scholarships for students of general category. the college offer scholarships only for schedule caste and scheduled tribe or other economically backward classes.

Campus Life

There are a lot of sports in enthusiasts in the students. So there are various sports competitions and tournament. the college also organises various competitions in different fields of students in class so that they can showcase their talents.

Admission

The admission is on the basis of merit. The first step is filling if the application form through any suitable online or offline mode and then Waiting for your name in the cutoff list. If you have good makes in class 12th you will get your name easily.

The Faculty of the college is very understanding and supportive. big guy their students that they can do better and always encourage them to pull up your socks and get over their problems and move ahead.

Placement Experience:

The student is eligible for campus placement since 7th semester. The companies that visit the campus are Google, Samsung, Meta, Apple, Nvidia, IBM, Mercedes Benz and many more. The percentage of placement is around 84%. My plan after getting the degree is higher studies

BITS Pilani, Goa Campus- A road to an interesting life.

Placement Experience:

Students can start sitting in placements from the start of 4th year , when the Placement Division starts bringing companies to the campus. The average package for CS is around 20-26 LPA, for Electrical branches it's around 18-24 LPA and for Mechanical and Chemical it is around 13-16 LPA. These figures would've changed though from the last time I saw. Around 85-90% of the students get placed usually. Top notch companies like Google, Microsoft , DE Shaw, Arcesium Cohesity Rubrick recruit students every year for the tech roles and other prominent companies like Flipkart, Sprinkle, Intuiut and Coin Switch come for managerial roles as well. There is even a chance of getting a PPO through Summer Internship Program which kikstarts in the 3rd year where students compete to get internship in these top companies. Overall , BITS Goa has impeccable placement statistics

Bits Goa good or not

Placement Experience:

There is a dept for placements. 70 to 80 percent people get placed woth average package of 20 lakhs per annum. Mostly ot depends on interviews and how good internship you get in 3rd year. Cg plays a very imp role too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is cbme based this meets the international standards and students can attampt usmle aslo. The course give u exposure to real world scenarios. The course is good as it is. The exams take place every semester and end of the year finals. Moderately difficult to clear.

I myself wanted to bebin this course as it has bright scope. It is very attractive in real world. the area needed to be cleaned and well maintained and hygiened as well. And the class timing are not good enough . They keep classes as they want.

Bits goa brief review

Placement Experience:

The placements are very good because we have two compulsory internships called practice school to make us industry ready after the second year summer for 2 months and one semester in the 4th or 5th year placements start since 7th semester itself were most get offers in PPO thright the internships. 248 companies visited along with 631 students placed the average is 2083000 and median is 1650000. 76 percent of students got placed highest was 80lpa. I plan to get a job

Euphoric 3 years of a wholesome college life.

The admission process was pretty straightforward forward, hassle free. Purely based on merit and the marks you received in your 12th standard were taken into account for the respective specific course/field you are choosing. Application forms can be found online on the college's official website around the month of may or june. Chowgule college is fine

Chowgule college is one of the most renowned colleges of Goa. It has a beautiful campus. A big enough campus actually. It also has a Mini cafe, coffee day, where All students like to sit during the free time. We also have huge canteen plus a multipurpose ground and also a huge football ground. Now coming to the specializations in BSc. In this college we have specializations like Bsc in botany ,zoology ,geology ,maths, chemistry ,literature and physics. Apart from this we have two auditoriums where we have conference's. The admission process is a bit hectic because you need to do a bit off paper work before getting into the college. They will make you take several rounds back-and-forth for some papers that you need for admissions. I prefer this college mostly due to the campus and the various specializations.
