Days in Mumbai Music Institute

This college has everything to provide to the students coming here, to live their dreams and pursue it as well. The college hosts various talk shows, where famous personalities present themselves and have a talk with students to improve their skills and move forward. The infrastructure is really good with nice PG provisions for students. The college has a well-equipped Stage Jam Room where students have band rehearsals, in-house cafe and AC hall, also a Studio Garage for editing, recording etc. I have spent the best year of my life in this college.

Getting engaged in course curriculum related to the field of music was always full of enthusiasm and passion. The course curriculum of Master's degree deals with various kinds of music like Western Music, Non-classical songs and what not. The syllabus is also very interesting and very nicely designed for students to prosper and do well in the future .

The placements and job opportunities for students pursuing their degrees here are really great and also have a bright future. Students also have the provision to apply for off-campus jobs. And yes, the college also provides internship chances for students who want to make their dreams come true. Moreover as it is a deemed institute for musical career in Mumbai, many well-established and reputed companies from industries come for recruitment.

We have a number of events and programs going on in our college all around the year. We have several fests, cultural programs, Independence Days and many more in our college. We also have fresher's days, farewells and department programs as well. We also celebrate sacred days like Saraswati Puja, Holi etc. The college also organizes various talent shows for students to showcase their talents and skills, they have inherited or acquired till now.

The total fee structure for my 1 year Master's degree is nearly Rs 2.25 Lakhs which also includes tuition fees, examination fees, cultural program fees etc. I personally think that it is quite a little expensive for some students to apply in this college but is feasible by taking educational loans from banks. The fees won't matter when students can learn many things from experienced faculties.

Our college hosts several extra-curricular events and activities every year. We have talent shows, singing competitions etc. We also have various seminars, workshops with great singers and composers that helps enhance students skills as well as personalities.

We have a good bonding as well connections with our juniors pursuing their dreams in this college. We have also been invited several times as guests to many events hosted by our college. We maintain a good relationships with faculties and students as well.

As much as I remember, the admission process across my Master's department is purely merit-based and number of seats available for that particular course. After I had completed my graduation from other college in the relevant field, I filled application for this institute as well. Based on my grades in the last semester, my name was on the merit list and some seats were also vacant, as a result I took admission here.

This college has really great and and highly experienced faculties on board. Most of the professors are music composers and directors from film industry as well. They are very much helpful and are like a guide to each and every student.
