DA Pandu Memorial RV Dental College and Hospital is a great place to study for both BDS and MDS. Students are friendly, along with the faculty and you will come out of the college as a trained and capable dentist.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty vast. They have a focus on some specific chapters and it can be intense. In the last semester, there is a bit of focus on research, but the main focus is upon the textbook knowledge.
Placement Experience
An MDS degree alone will open the doors at many jobs in the Dental community. Many people stop with a BDS degree and an internship, but doing an MDS really shows the dedication to the field. There are many opportunities post graduation.
College Events
Students take the lead in the celebration of all festivals. Usually, the college does not get overly involved and gives permission to students to conduct the events in an energetic manner. The College Fest is pretty fun.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is a bit heftier than other dental colleges. The MDS degree fees are around 4.3 lakh rupees per year for both years. This is a little more expensive for a dental degree than usual but RV Dental college is well-equipped.
Campus Life
The extracurriculars can be the college fest, and a lot of the major festivals in India are celebrated well by the students of RV Dental college. It is entertaining, and the social life plus infrastructure provides a good environment.
Admission
In order to attend RV Dental School for masters degrees, you need to first finish your BDS degree. You can choose a specialization for MDS and your entry is based on your NEET PG entrance exam ranking and then you need to go for counseling by the KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority).
Faculty
Faculty is well-trained. They are extremely experienced with dental work. Most of them deliver their content in a good manner. Some rely on simple powerpoint presentations but others can really engage. All of them are really friendly.
