Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was mostly educational but there were also many practical aspects to the subject for which we had to complete many assignments and projects. The exams that occurred for the course was also not very hectic and we did have a good time starting the course.
Placement Experience
Placements are very important and I was sure to ask for the different placement options before I got admission into the college. They told me that we would have many good organisations for interviews before the end of the term and they were very successful in keeping that word.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course is for the duration of three years which is divided into 6 semesters. The course fee for each semester is Rs. 3000 which needs to be paid before the semester begins which is during the registration process for each semester. There is also and one time fee which needs to be paid during the admission of the student which is of the amount Rs. 2500.
Campus Life
Along with preparing for the future the college also highly focused on organizing different celebrations and activities to freshen up the mind of the students after such a hectic time spent studying for their course. This is why the students were asked to organize different kinds of events where they could enjoy.
Alumni/Alumna
The college has a very strong alumni network and they never forget their ex students even if they are miles apart from the college. There is an online registration for students who are done with the course so that they can register themselves as alumni and the present for different events that are celebrated in the college for which they are invited.
Admission
I haven't really decided on studying home science until I saw the prospectus of the college and then decided that it might be a good idea to take admission here. I filled up there online admission form and was called for an interview which I was able to crack successfully.
Faculty
In my opinion the teachers of this college with really good and friendly towards their students. Got to learn many things from them which were also outside of the curriculum and more focused towards what the real industry expects from us and how we should proceed if you want to build a successful career.
