Remarks
Firstly it is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). A good and a highly professional institute and has the best experience faculties. Campus maybe small but the environment and crowd is very good. The canteen is good and hygienic and the quality of food is also good. The college has good placement as compared to other colleges. The infrastructure of classrooms, library, computer labs etc. is also good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The institute is offering several courses including Bachelor of Technology (BTECH), BBA, LLB, BCA and more. I chose the course as I always wanted to become a successful engineer. The faculties are also very experienced and have a unique way of teaching. Most of the faculties have done Masters and PhD in their respective fields of teaching. The term exams were almost 2 months after the beginning of the session however it was easy to pass the exam as most of the topics were covered and revision was done.
Placement Experience
In my college students from 7 semester are eligible for campus placement. Many companies visit the campus to offer jobs for students such as Microsoft, TCS, HP, Dell,etc. The highest package as of now is of 15L/annum and the lowest package is of 5L/annum. Students must have at least 70% marks to be eligible for placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
As of my field the college fees for Bachelor of Technology (BTECH) is somewhat same as compared to other colleges. The fees for BTECH is 100000rs/yr.
Campus Life
The campus life is amazing as their are many activities for the students to interact. It has sports such as Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton etc. Then comes the JIMS Fest in October where all the colleges of JIMS compete with each other. We also have the star night and annual Fest at February.
