Our college basically aims at establishing the benchmark for the students so that they can upholds their standards of interest in the fashion industry.We are also provided with world class infrastructure and a learning experience which is related to achieving highest standards in fashion , design , management etc . NIFT is for those who want to achieve heights and set a benchmark in the fashion industry.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is a four year program in which we are given insights about the fashion industry , what the customers are demanding , their behavioral patterns ,and many more . We are taught about the cultural diversity , given projects to analyze the market trends .
Placement Experience
Our college has a 100% placement record. Many top comapnies visit our college every year to select students for their design houses like Group indigo , Pankaj and Nidhi . The highest package last year was grabbed by one of my senior which was around 18 lpa. Yes our college also offers internship programs but 60% of them remains unpaid.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for my course is around 6,29000 for one year which I consider is a bit expensive because of the fact that the machines and maintenance cost of the art facilities is really very high. Moreover it is mandatory for first year students to stay in hostel . The hostel & mess charges are also quite high.
Campus Life
We have student development activity clubs , to provide us an avenue for co curricular activities . A fest called 'Fashion Spectrum' is also organised by the college which gives the students the platform to showcase their talent.We also have a sports club where we can take part in different sports tournaments held in our college like football , badminton, table tennis , volleyball etc. The core teams then compete in the ANNUAL MEET , converge.
Admission
There is a written exam as organised by the college . You need to pass class 12th from a recognized board . The students who hold a diploma that is recognized by the AICTE are also eligible to apply.The maximum qualifying age is 23 .In case you have cleared the test with good marks , you would be called for a group discussion round . You need to wait for the final results and if lucky will be granted admission.
Faculty
The teachers of this college are really outstanding in respect to their teaching methodology .The training is in sync with the current fashion trends and global industry. They are really very professional in their work and give strict emphasis on the deadline of the assignments. Equal attention is given to every student who have some queries or some sort of technicality related to the subject.
