Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is enriched with knowledgeable syallbus and lot of research. The course is great and not so hard. The syllabus is really well choosen. We have practical exams and written exams as a method for grading.

Placement Experience

The college have an active placement cell. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment of best talents. We are also provided with internships at the campus itself. Even if some of the internship do not have stipend the work we do gives us a lot of experience.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very much feasible. Per year fee is Rs 2,000. The course is of two years so the total fee for the entire programme is Rs 4,000 which is nominal fee for a course. So it is very feasible.

Campus Life

The college organise many seminars and workshops. We also have international conference on various topics. The college is all about research so there are many events related to that. The labs too are well maintained.

Admission

I got admission directly on the basis of scores obtained in entrance exam for post graduation course. This is a tough exam as I have to prepare very hard for it. O got a good score ans got the admission to the institute.

Faculty

The faculty is very dedicated and supportive. The college is a great place. The teachers are highly educated in their respective field. They are very insightful. They are very helpful and taught us very well.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

Course Curriculum Overview:

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
