Course Curriculum Overview
Economics what we study in high-school is very different from what we study in college and comparatively tougher. There is an equal emphasis given on macroeconomics and statistics. The days were hectic as well.
Placement Experience
There aren't much placements provided to the students apart from the MBA students. There is also internship opportunities as well but it is provided on the basis on job profile. Government sectors also visit.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for the Economics course is Rs 5000 per year which makes it a total of Rs 15000 for three years. I think it's very cheap and affordable for anyone. Those interested in economics should consider this option.
Campus Life
Workshops and seminars are conducted regularly. In these trying times, even webinars are confusing to keep a check on mental health and various issues that we faced in this time. General peace prevails in the college campus.
Admission
For the economics course, admissions are based on marks obtained in class 12th board exams. The admission forms are available from Direcroate of Distance Education. I always was interested in Economics and that's why I pursued it.
Faculty
Apart from few exceptions, the teachers were usually supportive and had been teaching in the college for quite a long time now. There was also a way in which teachers made sessions interested and interactive for us.
