Remarks
Overall experience was good. Being University campus, there were some bureaucracy and laid back attitude sometimes from the management but then we did get many other opportunities being the part of campus.
Entrance Preview
Joint Entrance Exam for MCA entrance conducted at Rajasthan levelSecured 38th rank all over Rajasthan. Opted the college as this was the best one in Rajasthan.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was good. All required computer science languages were covered as well as all other necessary aspect of computer science were covered.
Internships Opportunities
Internship was great with a company in Gurgaon. Got to learn a lot that helped me in big way in my career. Stipend provided at that time was Rs. 5000.
Placement Experience
There were many companies that came. I remember Tech Mahindra, Zensar, Algorism, Hewitt, Nagarro, Brickred. Packages offered were in the range of 2.2 - 3.5L per annum.
College Events
College hosted events like Freshers Party, Farewell Party, Annual sports and cultural program and Education tours in various parts of India, Students association elections. We also got opportunities to participate in Inter college Software competitions, Cultural competitions, Inter college and state level university sports events held across different cities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As college was the part of University, fees was pretty nominal. If I remember correctly, it was around 50k for 3 years. Examination fees was also pretty nominal.
Fees and Financial Aid
I dont know of any scholarships or loans that were offered by the college. Loans were available easily from banks though.
Campus Life
It was great. As mentioned before, there were lots of opportunities. There were no issues about any kind of gender/religion discrimination. Pretty health environment overall.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels was not too great but were okay - typical university hostels. Not sure about the hostel fees as I was staying at my home.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors were quite good, helpful and friendly. Alumni network is not too strong. We have some groups/forums that we share but it is not as strong as you wish it to be.
Exam Structure
We had semester system so exams were held every 6 months - both theoretical as well as practicals.
Faculty
Faculty was mix. Some were very good while some were okay. As college was part of University, we had all of facilities at our disposal which you should have in a university.
