Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty extensive. It includes History of English Literature, Biographies, Poetry, Linguistics, Research Methods, Foreign Language, Indian Writings, American Literature, Drama, Women Writings and others.
Placement Experience
Summer Internship is a must. It is included in the course curriculum. There are various placement opportunities in different fields of work like Copywriter, Editor, Foreign Language Teacher, Lexicographer, Journalist, Teacher, Creative Writer and others. Many companies came on campus to offer job opportunities for the students like Byju's, Make My Trip, Hike Education, Udaan and others.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course fee of each year is 3,00,000 INR. Hence, the total fee of B.A.(Hons) English is 9,00,000 INR for 3 years. The fee structure is expensive, but they also provide lots of global opportunities as well as wonderful hands-on experience.
Campus Life
The college has lots of clubs like Sports Club, Cultural Club, Trekking Club, Design Club and others. Multiple events are being organized regularly by the clubs like Basketball Match, Ad Mad Show, Excel4finance, Treasure Hunt, Dance Competition, Movie Screening and others.
Admission
I always wished to pursue English Literature, and that's why, I submitted the online application form for BA (Hons) English at IILM. You need to submit the 10+2 marksheet and a statement of purpose, here. Then, they would invite you a for the IILM Personal Interview. You'd know the final selection result, after the interview.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is pretty impressive. They are experienced, and guides you through the course structure, whenever you need it. Not only do they focus on classroom teaching but also provide opportunities for global exposure, summer internships and others.
