Remarks
As per my opinion its a nice college for whom were willing to take the career in shipping industry but it bit expensive while comparing to other colleges.
Entrance Preview
I took AMET Entrance Exam. Its just my interest in shipping took me into that college Selection process was Entrance exam based on your +2 percentage,Direct interview. If the seats are not filled mean no need to attend the entrance exam straight away they will give admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
Its average through out the years First Year I learned about the general Management rules and ethics. Second Year A little intro about the shipping and tools used for shipping. Third Year About field work and intenship.
Internships Opportunities
As my major is shipping i had done the internship at Seapol shipping at chennai but they didnt offer any stipend to me i had done two internship at the same company in my second year and third year.
Placement Experience
We got some major shipping company like maersk,hapag lloyd,cma cgm etc many people were placed the package offered was 12000 to 15000 per month.
College Events
We Celebrate AMET voyage every year its a inter college management events and also due to more kerala students here we celebrate onam in our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Our fee structure is expensive only as compared to others it almost around 1 lac per annum. Above that we need to pay for hostel and bus fees hostel fees was 60000 per annum and bus fees was 18000 annum.
Campus Life
About campus life its actually very fun and lovely moments our college were offering lots of activities like big swimming pool,good gym and indoor games facility were available In sports we were good at basket ball and foot ball. There is no such thing as ethnicity,racial problems.
Hostel Facilities
Its good only but 6 people need to accommodate in one room the food was also good the dinner was chance less it was too good there are many PG facilities were available near college it cost nearly 3000 per person for per month.
Alumni/Alumna
Each and every year our college will conduct alumni meet it will help us to know more about the market what will be like life after graduation and also we can get job referral form them its very useful.
Exam Structure
As normal practice in most of the college we have 6 semester each year 2 the mark is in GPA only 60 as external mark and 40 as internals,internals is based on attendance and viva.
Faculty
They are very nice and with knowledge expect few and also very friendly,supportive still iam missing some faculty. Some staff were cared more about the students they were help to get the good job through their reference.
