The university is the best one for Post Graduate courses. All the Vice Chancellors and Professors are eminent personality. The quality of teaching and the university atmosphere was very good.
Entrance Preview
No entrance exam. Only personal interview. Prestigious University. Having global popularity. One among the three universities available at that time. Eminent scholars are in the learning squad.
Course Curriculum Overview
Income Tax and Practice was my preferred electives. But I was asked to take transportation and development due to my involvement in those subject in my UG.
Internships Opportunities
No stipend at that time for M. Com. We spent our pay outs to meet our expenses. This is two year course and I stayed in the hostel. My parents met my expenses.
Placement Experience
The job opportunity was plenty during that time. I was offered job in State Bank Of India, Indian Bank, Reserve Bank of India. I preferred Indian Bank because I got posting at Annamalai Nagar where I completed my M> Com
College Events
P G Nook is one of the best events we celebrated in the college every quarter. It is a place for exhibiting our talents to our friends in the college. It is a combined activity of all the PG students irrespective of theri subjects.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was affordable. I don't remember exactly the fee structure. But course fees and hostel fees are very reasonable and my parents were in a position to meet the same without any difficulty.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was a scholarship scheme for the back ward and SC/St students. Since i am belonging to forward community i was not eligible for any scholarship. Loan scholarship was available but I did not availed.
Campus Life
Unforgettable life in college. I was PG Nook Chairman for secpond year and I conducted elocution contest inviting the other two university students. It was very much appreciated by our VC at that ime.
Hostel Facilities
The university was having separate blocks for P.G.Students.Each room was occupied by two students during the first hyear and single room for the second year students. Mess was manager by students themselves and the food served was extremly the best one.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors were very accomodative and they lent their notes/ books and their experience to have a good learning. Still alumini is continued but I could not actively involved due to my preoccupation.
Exam Structure
No semester system during that time. It is annual events. Every year exams will be conducted and carry over is also permitted. The timings are comfortable
Faculty
Mr. Mathew a prominent professor graduated from Oxford was my guide. He is authority in commerce subjects. His teaching ability was superb.The legal experts who handled those subjects is having practival court experience
