Remarks
The management is bad. But it depends on how much you rely on it. If you don't care about anything to be perfect you'll have a blast. If you are perfectionist on the other hand, you'll be pretty much upset with the college.
Entrance Preview
Engineering was too mainstream. So, I chose Agriculture. The college has a good reputation and is located in a nice town. When I entered the college, I did not write an exam but went in through management quota. But it is now no in action.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was pretty easy. The classes are right though. Due to the lack in number of classrooms there maybe a lot of students for a single class. The administration binds combined classes a lot. The timing of the classes may start from as early as 6.30 am to as late as 5 in the evening. So, make sure you ready yourself for that.
Internships Opportunities
Not a lot of companies came. But the big company so far was Nestle and most of the companies that came were for Marketing jobs which are low for the course.
Placement Experience
The opportunities differon what you choose to pursue as a career. You could get government jobs (if that's what you prefer) by taking some exams or else you'll be stuck with the marketing jobs which is a lot of work for less wage.
College Events
The events are mostly isolated as the whole college cannot be seated anywhere. So, only a part of a fraction of students get to watch the events. But the sporting events are good though. But nothing to vrag about or anything.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees was extremely cheap for the course. It is totally feasible. Every student will be able to pay it up pretty easily. There are loans and the loans can be paid back in fast installments. The fees was just around 15K per year and if hostel, it is an extra 40K.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yeah, people with lesser income are often given scholarship but the management rakes forever to process the money and it even takes two years to reach your hands. Students usually protest and the faculty doesn't even care.
Campus Life
Campus is okay I would say. You've got tonnes of places to wander around. Infrastructure is also good. But the facilities such as lab and equipment managemt are a waste of money.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel food is a disaster. Can't even eat it except for some hosfels. There are more than 6 hostels separate for both boys and girls. The accomodation will be congested due to the high population. I would suggest you rent a room outside college and that would suit you better.
Alumni/Alumna
Yeah before they give out the TC and 12th marksheet back they collect money for the association and would contact you in case of gettogether and so. But I don't know how far the system works.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is the usual routine. The questions are common for both the mid semester and the semester exams. And the correction committee is liberal and wouldn't do much to fail you unless you write nothing.
Faculty
The faculty could have been better. I only know a few staff who excel at their subjects but most teachers don't know what they are doing. And the research facilities and laboratories are a pain to work with.
