The course is designed to help the students perform multiple or singular tasks single handily. The subjects relate to office suites, accounting software, graphics software, media players etc. The cyber stream is a sub stream of computer applications which aims to equip the students with the necessary skills which are required in order to defend the computer networks & operating system data from cyber hacking & attacks. The duration of the course is four years which is further divided into eight semesters.

Roles such as security auditor, incident respondent, chief information security officer, code auditor, vulnerability access-or and security administrative were offered to students. Companies such as Cisco, Federal first, Intel, General motors, Boeing came to our campus and selected a pool of students from my batch. The highest package offered was 18 lpa and the average was 7 lpa . Internships were also offered to students who want to gain some experience in the IT industry. Though I am not sure of the stipend that the companies have given to the students.

The total fees for four years is 45,000 which are divided into 7,500 for every semester. For me the fees is quite feasible and okay as compared to the other college offering the same course. Caution money deposit needs to be paid at the time of admission along with the library,exam and hostel fees.

As it is a government funded university scholarship is provided to top scores who have achieved 90% and above in their 12th board examination. E-kalyan scholarship is given to the reserved category. 50% wavier is given to students whose family income is less than 4 lpa i.e who belong to economically weaker sections of the society. Ex-serviceman and defense personnel children are also provided with some fee concession.

Sports activities such as football, basketball, volleyball, badminton etc are conducted once in a year so that the students can mingle with each other and remove their regional differences.Workshops on cyber security management, how the IT industry works, risk management are provided to students every month so that they gain in depth knowledge about the subject. Cultural events like garba, holi, bihu, diwali, janamashti, Independence day are organized by the college council for more amount of student participation.

There are two separate hostels for boys and girls. The rooms are quite big and clean.We are also given a almirah for the personal belongings. Other facilities like hot water bath, water coolers, laundry facilities, medical & ambulance facilities , internet connection, library etc are provided to the students. The mess food is also quite good. I would rate the hostel & mess facilities a 8.5/10.

The student seeking admission in this college should secure at least 50% marks in the science stream from a recognized board. The maximum age limit for general candidates is 21 years at the time of admission in the college. A relaxation of two years is further given to students belonging from the reserved category and female candidates. Apply online for the course and fill in your educational qualification. You will be called for a counselling session if your name appears in the merit list prepared by the college. After that you will be granted admission in the college.

The teachers posses a good knowledge of malware analysis & reversing which is essential to be taught to students for speedy recovery in case of a cyber attack. The doubts of the students are answered willfully by the teachers. Our department Hod tells us about the various aspects of cloud security, intrusion detection, risk analysis and mitigation so that we can identify the risks and be prepared in advanced for any damage control.
