I wrote L&T Constructions' Build India Scholarship exam. I cleared the written technical round aptitude round and interview at IIT Delhi to acquire admission into this 2 year Sponsored M.tech programme.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is designed perfectly for a person who wants to pursue his career in construction industry. The curriculum will have all the latest research going on in the field.
Internships Opportunities
Internship experience gives you the brutal reality of the construction industry. It was a 6 week internship programme, across India. The internship site would be related to the projects that one would be doing in the 2nd yr. The normal stipend offered is 13400.
Placement Experience
The Construction Management & Technology course is a Sponsored course by L&T Construction. The strength of the class is 30, with 15 people who have 2 year experience with L&T and the other 15 are freshers from Civil and Electrical background. All of the students would be inducted into L&T.
College Events
They conduct South Indias biggest Cultural Festivals called SAARANG in January every year.They also have this very big technical event called SHAASTRA.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course is fully sponsored. only the hostel and mess fee would have to be paid by us. The monthly expense for hostel and mess would be around 5000 that we can easilyu pay with our stipend.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is an SBI bank inside campus, from there every student cam avail easy education loan. There are many other schemes for going abroad for future studies or internships.
Campus Life
This is one of the best education institutions in the country. And here they provide world class facilities and infrastructure. All type of sports are played here. The labs are one in million. As there is a lot of research going on in each department all the equipment would be new technology.
Alumni/Alumna
It has a strong Alumini network who maintain a close connection with campus. They even provide financial assistance programs to those who deserve. The senior students are also very friendly and there are people from all states in campus and you would be sharing classrooms with people of all ages also, such a huge diversity gives you better exposure.
Faculty
The faculty of the Building Technology and Construction Management Dept. are world class, with most professors having a degree from outside India. They are strictly professionals and behave as if they are our boss. It is a good prologue to all the freshers who would be working in a company after this degree.
