Course Curriculum Overview

The course is of total two years and we have a total of four semesters as we have a two-semester system. We have exams conducted at the end of each semester but there are tests and quizzes held on a regular basis.

Great opportunities are offered to us as we have renowned companies offering us placements and they are offer a great amount of stipend and this is a good head start for our career.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very much reasonable and can be afforded by students coming from different economic backgrounds without much difficulty, the fee for the entire course costs up to INR 19,984

Campus Life

We have a specialised, well maintained and well-equipped labs and the instruments and devices are in proper working condition and if at all any of them are having any kind of malfunction, it is repaired or replaced immediately.

Admission

To get admission, I had to first fill the application form present on the college website, then after I got selected,I was called for a campus interview and then I received an email suggesting my acceptance into the university.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
